Our experts have experience in writing for both the general public and the scientific community and can effectively reach a wide range of clients. Other experience that our team brings to the table is directing of an exercise physiology laboratory, serving as editors on peer reviewed journals, and publication of exercise physiology texts.

Dr. Sharon E. Griffin, owner of NEXSIS.org, holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in exercise technology, exercise science, and exercise physiology respectively. She also holds a second M.S. degree in Nutrition and is a licensed nutritionist in the state of New Mexico. She is certified as a health and fitness instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine and is focusing her career efforts on closing the gap between scientific research and the general public. “I want to take the enormous amount of knowledge in the areas of exercise and nutrition and relay it to the public in way that you don’t need a Ph.D. to understand it!” Close contact working with community members, athletes and research subjects, both assessing their nutrition and fitness status using state of the art equipment and developing individual exercise prescriptions, has provided her with insight as to what “works” and what doesn’t when it comes to effective health related behavioral change. She has an array of research experience in the field, including conducting clinical research trials at a Veterans Administration Hospital. Her latest endeavor comprised nutritional education segments on Public Television. (Curriculum Vitae available upon request)
